My mother was adopted by this cat back in 2007, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Daisy was abandoned by her family and lived for over 6 months in the primary school in which my mother used to run an after-care. After winning the hearts of many teachers, it was eventually my mom who took her home. Daisy likes to get under your nose when it’s cold, pester you when she’s bored, but is ultimately most fond of her routines. Since my mother moved down to Cape Town, Daisy has made the neighbourhood her own and has recently discovered the Capetonian wildlife (geckos, squirrels, and … Egyptian Geese!)
Whenever I visit my parents, I’m assured of a free model in Daisy.
